This weekend has been a mad dash to get them cleaned up, rotor tilled, and mulched before the snow flies.
Now, I don't necessarily believe the weather man when he says it's going to snow or rain. Then again I can't not believe them either. What other job can you be wrong 70% of the time and still get a really good paycheck? (That's a rhetorical question.)
Sweetie Pea (as my car says when I tell it to call Sweetie Pie AKA the hubby), is taking his last chance at golf. Frik (the oldest son) has succumbed to the fall clutches of hunting (duck, goose, deer, etc.) not to mention a cute, petite nursing student. Frak! (the youngest son) Help! Usually, Frak is available but a friend is home from the Marines so he was no help either.
So I got done what I could and hope the snow hides what I didn't. Or maybe, Mother Nature will be kind enough to give me another weekend to get my chores done before she covers herself in a blanket of white.
