Drink More Water? Ugh.

I'm constantly harassed to drink more water, more water, MORE water.  Ugh.  I can't stand plain, nothing to taste water.  Tea, sure! Coffee, absolutely! Bloody Mary from Sobelman's, now you're talkin'!   I know water is good for you.  I understand that our cells need water to remain healthy...but COME ON, can we have a little flavor?

Sure.

Here are a few of my favorite combinations from around the web that I wouldn't have thought to put together.  And I have to say, I'm liking water more AND I'm getting a little more creative with what I add.

Naturally Flavored Water - Detox Water Recipes

We made strawberry infused water (detox water) all last summer. Now that our basil is thriving again, we've resumed our flavored water tradition. I'm also excited to share with you a new favorite that I've discovered; watermelon basil. Adding basil to water gives it an amazing freshness and the fruit adds just the right amount of sweet tang.

Watermelon & Jasmine

Yes, you read that right...Jasmine.  Instead of mineral water, I used filtered water & let it sit in the fridge overnight to infuse.  Who knew this would be so refreshing!  ​
