I'm an avid reader. I love to feel the weight of a book in my lap, the texture of the pages and the smell of old paper. Some of my favorite books are covered with cracked, worn leather. The gold stamped letters of the title faded by time. But honestly, you can only read a book so many times before you have to put it away and pick something else to read. Here's my quandary...I don't know what I want to read.
I love thrillers (a little supernatural with Dean Koontz, a little espionage with Vince Flynn, or a little history with Dan Brown)
horror (a little scary with Stephen King, a little blood sucking with Anne Rice, or a little flesh eating with Joe McKinney)
fantasy (a little Middle Earth with J.R.R. Tolkien, a little spell-binding with J.K. Rowling, or a little dragon riding with Christopher Paolini)
Crime (a little murder mystery with Patricia Cornwell, a couple true stories by Anne Rule, or a little Sherlock with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle)
I'm at a lost for what to put on my reading list. With winter around the corner which means spending more time inside...I need to add to my list. Any suggestions?
