Today is not a good day. I came home from work with a nagging headache that blossomed into a full blown migraine on the drive here. By the time I drove into the driveway, I was seeing bright flashes of light, smells were making me nauceous, and loud noises were causing my head to implode. So I crawled upstairs, got a cool damp cloth from the bathroom to cover my eyes and crawled into bed. Three hours later, I'm awake. I'm still extremely nauceated but at least I'm not seeing flashes of bright light and the thumping is gone. My family knows when I have these migraines they have to fend for themselves when it comes to supper. It's actually a treat for them since I don't like Buffalo Wild Wings and they are in the living room right now munching away on "B Dubs".
I'm hiding in the office with the light off, trying to stay committed to February's NaBloPoMo challenge. As long as I don't smell any food or chemicals I should be okay. My poor beagle baby, Mollie Bollie. was chased out of the office because I could smell her even though she got a bath last night.
The good thing about today, my husband finished the 2 four space QB's and the lid to my "hope" chest. He volunteered to help sand and prime everything this weekend while I finish painting the last of the 2 walls. He also came home with 8 boxes of Girl Scout cookies. Now if only I could eat some!
