Yesterday, while my family watched the SuperBowl, I screwed in all the brackets on the shelves and measured their placement in the closet. I even had time after the half time show (for me it's all about the National Anthem and the half time show) to put in the top shelves and side shelves. (Remember that quirky, blind space behind the wall?). Tonight I finished putting in the other 4 shelves and started putting painter's tape on the moulding so I can begin painting tomorrow.
I'm sooo excited! *does a little Happy Dance* My new gadget, the Strait-Line® X3® Laser Level worked perfectly. I wish I could say the same for my measuring. Thankfully, I measured, re-measured, and measured again to be safe. Since I had painted the closet walls I didn't want to mar them by using a pencil to mark my lines so I used painter's tape instead. It was a good thing because I had to remove a couple of them after re-measuring. ALWAYS, double and triple check your measurements!
*Does one more happy dance* Okay, time to get back to work and get rid of that awful blue and purple wall!
